*www.turism.md is the
official website of the National Tourism Agency and is sponsored
by UNDP. It is an excellent site that gives everything you need
to know about travel to, in and around Moldova. It includes a section
on history and traditions, as well as suggested tours and sites
within and nearby the country. Check it out!
*www.lonelyplanet.com
suggests that you "go see Moldova before it becomes completely
Pepsified". See their destination
page. As with all Lonely Planet content, the information
is comprehensive and well written. Lonely Planet also has an excellent
"bulletin
board" type page which gives very helpful travelling
tips offered from recent travellers to Moldova.
*www.ournet.md is a
comprehensive website resource center. It's a great place to start
your research about Moldova. It includes everything from currency
exchange rates and daily news, to travel resources and in country
health care.
